Sunday Services during the Blizzard

Sunday Services during the Blizzard

In light of the forecast for severe weather this weekend and the declaration by Gov. Wolf of a state of emergency, we are prepared for the possibility that it will not be safe to travel to church for worship or Sunday School this Sunday morning.

Please do not travel to Reformation this Sunday morning unless you are sure that the roads are safely passable, that the church parking lot has been cleared, and that there is electricity at the church.

How can you know? The recorded greeting on the church phone (610-891-0600) will announce that the church is accessible when that is the case. Unless you hear such a message when you call, assume that the church is not accessible.

Insofar as electric service is not interrupted we will also attempt to put information on the Reformation web page (www.relcmedia.org) and the Reformation facebook page https://www.facebook.com/groups/53881035745/ .

If you are not able to travel to worship on Sunday we encourage you to take some time for prayer and thanksgiving to God. You may find one of these two websites to be helpful. The first is a 10- minute worship for this Sunday which is presented by Lutheran pastors from Alaska: http://10worship.blogspot.com/2016/01/10w-for-january-24th-your-mission.html

The second is a bible study on this Sunday’s scripture readings from an Episcopal source:

Also, please find attached a copy of Taking Faith Home and Reformation Times Lite for this Sunday.

We pray that you and your loved ones will remain safe and healthy in the days ahead.
