Standing Together
‘Bega Kwa Bega’ standing ‘shoulder to shoulder’ is the Swahili phrase used to both describe and celebrate our Reformation companion relationship with the Pangani Parish of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Tanzania (ELCT).
At its heart, bega kwa bega, affirms the joint ministry between numerous communities of faith in the ELCA and ELCT, whose purpose is to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ, extend Christian hospitality, and strengthen relationships with one another through the shared practices of prayer, presence, and partnerships.
During worship on Sunday October 1, 2017, we celebrate our Reformation – Pangani bega kwa bega by welcoming guest preacher, The Rev. Brad Burke, Assistant to the Bishop for Youth, Young Adult and Spiritual Formation who recently traveled to Tanzania. Our partnership celebration continues during the 9:45 am education hour with an adult forum in Creighton Hall. Come one, come all!

Please receive my greetings in the name of Jesus Christ. I would like to thank Our God almighty for his grace. I wrote this letter to you so that I can express my deepest thanks to all members of the Reformation Church. You have given me a future, you have hold me up in the academic stream, and God bless you all. The mark which you have put in my heart will never be erased by any kind of situation. I will always remember it forever and ever.
I thank God for his mercy during my studies, without his grace I could do nothing. He helped me from the beginning until now, but my thanks won’t be complete if I will not recognize your presence, your prayers and the effort you made for the scholarship during my secondary studies.
Apart of this scholarship you did not left me alone when I was in Dodoma University pursue my bachelor of Petroleum Engineering, you were still beside me. God bless you.
I don’t see what kind of words I should use to express my greatest thanks to you for what you have done to me. Let me encourage you that your effort is not for nothing, it has brought a lot of success to some of us, and am sure that I am a good example among those who benefit from your scholarship. For each and anything which you have given to us, let God replace it abundantly
Lastly I would like to request for your prayers, so that God should open the way for me during this time of searching for a job. I know nothing is impossible under the hands of Jesus. I love you all and be blessed.
