Sunday Worship Schedule – (Early September through Mid-June)

8:30 a.m. – Worship with the celebration of Holy Communion. The Chancel Choir provides worship leadership.

11:00 a.m. – Worship with the celebration of Holy Communion. The praise band, Souls, provides worship leadership and the Children’s Choir and youth ROCK Stars also participate.

A professionally staffed nursery is available for child-care during all Sunday worships. Additionally, a children’s sermon, called the “Sermon on the Steps,” is a part of the worship nearly every Sunday.

From September through June, Sunday School for all ages meets at 9:45 a.m.

Summer Sunday Worship Schedule – (Mid-June through Early September)

8:30 a.m. – Worship with the celebration of Holy Communion. Music is provided by soloists andspecial ensembles.

10:00 a.m. – Worship with the celebration of Holy Communion. Music is provided by Souls.

Taizé Prayer Service

On the third Monday of each month at 7 pm, Reformation hosts a prayer service that uses Taizé chants.  The service is one hour and consists of simple repetitive songs, scripture readings, prayers, and a period of meditative silence.

The style of the service is inspired by the prayer services held in the Taizé Community in Taizé , France. More information about the community can be found HERE.


Worship at Elwyn

Worship with communion is celebrated at 1 p.m. every Sunday on Elwyn’s campus for the residents and staff of that community.

Elwyn, Inc. is a local organization that provides care and assistance to individuals that live with various disabilities and disadvantages. Chaplaincy is provided to the clients of Elwyn through Reformation’s Chaplain to Elwyn.


Special Worships

Throughout the year there are many opportunities to gather for special worships.

Ash Wednesday – Worship with communion and the imposition of ashes at 12 noon and 7:30 p.m.

Lent Evening Prayer – Wednesdays during Lent at 7:30 p.m. in the Sanctuary following a soup supper at 6:30 p.m.

Holy Week:
Maundy Thursday – Worship at 7:30 p.m.
Good Friday – Worship at 7:30 p.m.
Easter Vigil – Worship at 7:30 p.m.

Easter – Worships at 8:00, 9:30, and 11:00 a.m.

Ascension Day – Worship done in conjunction with the other Lutheran congregations in Delaware County.

Thanksgiving Eve – Worship at 7:30 p.m.

Christmas Eve – Worships at 4:00, 6:00, 8:00, and 10:00 p.m.

Christmas Day – Worship at 10:00 a.m.
