Blessing of the Backpacks

Bring your backpacks to worship on September 10 for a special blessing as we celebrate the start of another school year and God’s blessings in our lives every day!

—NEW ADULT LEARNING OPPORTUNITY—

Explore Roots of the Reformation

As part of our mission to Build a Living Faith, we are increasing the opportunities for adults to continue to learn and grow on Sunday mornings. Starting on September 10, there will be at least three learning options for adults at Reformation on most Sunday mornings at 9:45. The first of these new offerings will be viewing and discussing Luther and the Reformation (by TV Travel Guide Rick Steves) which was filmed on location in Europe and tells the story of a humble monk who lived a dramatic life. Join us Sept. 10, 17, and 24 at 9:45 am in Creighton Hall for a story of power, rebellion, and faith that you will never forget!

Women’s Connection

Women’s Connection is a group that meets most Sundays when there is Sunday School from 9:45-10:45. Women of all ages and stages of life are welcome to attend. The purpose of the group is to foster connections between the women of Reformation, provide time for female fellowship and faith exploration in a caring supportive environment. Generally, each meeting starts with a care check time followed by a short devotional or some other discussion material and then ends with prayer. Topics and discussion material are chosen by the group. Meetings are led by various members of the group and are held in the Women’s Connection room In between the library and the R.O.C.K youth room. Come every Sunday or just every once in a while. New members are welcome at any point in time!
