The meeting on May 14 was the last for the OWLs senior group until at least September. Those who came to hear The Sunshine Singers in May were treated to lighthearted songs by a group of retired folks who not only love to sing but who also bring much experience and talent to the work! They were delighted by the refreshments after the concert and hope to be invited back in the future!
Thank you so much to all of the folks who helped the OWLs this past year! We are now looking ahead to the future. The volunteer steering committee (Sue Bianco, Edna Bogert, Sally Burkam, Joanne Riess, and Mary Shook), who have planned and carried out Owls meetings this year, are in need of more helpers! Other people who serve are Sally Phillips as treasurer and Ron Brzowski, who sets up tables, as well as those who donate desserts and those who help clean up after meetings. We are grateful for all of these helpers, as well as for the help and support of Reformation’s pastors and staff!
Watch for a questionnaire which will soon be sent via e-mail. This questionnaire will seek ideas on how and if this group should continue in the future!
