In past years, cookie bakers have gathered the
day after Thanksgiving to cook and pack cookies.
These cookies were given to homebound
members and for food bags which went to the
needy at Christmas. This has been known as the
Jean Roberts Cookie Bake.
This year we will be asking that generous cookie
makers to bake a few dozen cookies at home and
bring them to the church kitchen on Sunday,
November 23 through Sunday, December 7.
Please mark the cookies “Jean Roberts Cookies.”
This is a GREAT activity to do as a family!
Even the littlest helpers can get in on this.
Volunteers will pack them into plastic containers
and we will distribute them to homebound
members during Christmas caroling and food bag
distribution. Thank you for your generosity in this
effort.
