Serve the Welcome Church
The Welcome Church is an ELCA congregation proclaiming the hope and love of a gracious God to all people and especially to people experiencing homelessness. All are welcome to be part of this dynamic ministry. The Reverend Violet C Little, Pastor and Developer of The Welcome Church, celebrates Sunday worship on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway, Aviator Park, rain or shine, the first and fourth Sundays of each month at 3 pm. The Welcome Church is seeking partners to provide a bagged sandwich dinner for those attending worship on Sundays, home baked cookies for their Tea and Talk held on Mondays, or items for their Prayer, Bible Study, Holy Communion on Tuesdays.
