Churches throughout Southeastern PA Synod are working with Iglesia Luterana Nueva Creación (New Creation Lutheran Church) and the Norris Square Community Alliance, a community organization with a long standing reputation in North Philadelphia, to provide and transport hurricane relief supplies to Puerto Rico.
Until November 5, 2017, donations will be collected at Reformation. Place your donations in the large bin labeled “Hurricane Relief for Puerto Rico” located in the Welcome area. There is an ongoing need for:
Batteries (sizes C, D, AA, and 9-volt)
Flashlights
Adult and Child wipes
OTC painkillers such as acetaminophen
Heavy duty trash bags
Adult and Child Diapers
Feminine Hygiene Products
In addition, Lutheran Disaster Response (LDR) offering envelopes are located on the counter in the Gathering space. All financial donations will be sent to the ELCA for ongoing disaster relief.
