On Friday, March 15, ten Reformation members gathered at the KenCrest Community Champions luncheon. This annual luncheon is a celebration of members of the wider community that champion the work and mission of KenCrest throughout the year. This year, Reformation was nominated and chosen to be a 2019 KenCrest Community Champion. Reformation was chosen because of our partnership with KenCrest and commitment to inclusion in our own ministry.
The award citation reads, in part: “Presented to Reformation Lutheran Church of Media, PA, in recognition of embracing the KenCrest mission wholeheartedly, and for their support over the last 15 years … Thank you, Reformation Lutheran Church, for being a shining example of what inclusion truly looks like, and for embracing KenCrest values.”
The medallion and award certificate will be added to the wall in the lobby where our welcome statement hangs as another symbol of the wonderful life we share together as God’s people!
