If you were traveling between Philadelphia and Baltimore in the late 1770’s and needed a place to get a meal or to spend the night, you might have stopped at a warm and inviting tavern along a dusty road in Concordville. In fact, at one time, George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, and Benjamin Franklin were each said to have stayed at this inn.
Many years and 25 owners later, Ye Old Concordville Inn still offers the good food and warm atmosphere of that earlier time. Join the Lunch Bunch there for our Wednesday, December 11, get-together! The food is renown (especially the crab cakes!) and prices reasonable (Lunch entrees start at $13).
Anyone who would like to join the Lunch Bunch at the Concordville Inn, 780 Baltimore Pike, Glen Mills, is invited to sign-up on the green sheet in the church lobby. All are welcome to join us!
