Throughout October, we will be collecting gently used shoes to raise money for Sanctuary Village, a future tiny home community working to end homelessness in Philadelphia. Bring your gently used shoes to the collection area at church and Sanctuary Village will be paid by the pound for the shoes collected. Shoes will be sent to developing countries and sold by micro-entrepreneurs, stimulating their local economies. This will also keep shoes we collect out of landfills and incinerators.
