Saving water can be easy! Just keep a few empty plastic gallon jugs (i.e. from milk, iced tea, etc.) on hand. While your water is running waiting for it to get hot to wash dishes, collect the water in the jugs and use to water plants or flush toilets. Similarly, while you are waiting for your shower water to get warm, you can collect the water in a basin and use the water around your home where it is needed.
