The 2014 David L. Leibig Memorial Concert is set for Sunday, May 4, 2014, at 3:00 in the Reformation Concert Hall, a.k.a. the sanctuary. The concert will feature composer, singer and keyboard player Jordan Clawson.
Jordan has a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Michigan and a Master’s Degree in Scoring for Film and Multimedia from NYU. Jordan is going to make use of his multifaceted talents to take us on a musical adventure which will include sacred and secular works for solo voice and solo piano with an opportunity for audience participation.
Jordan Clawson worked as Minister of Music at Advent Lutheran Church in New York where he wrote anthems for choir, psalm refrains and tones for the congregation as well as writing and composing music for the church band. You will not want to miss this young, engaging talent.
This concert is free and open to the entire community so invite your friends. It is also followed by wonderful refreshments.
