Adam Fender Will “Bike and Build” Coast-to-Coast

On Sunday, May 25, we will offer prayers of blessing and support for Reformation member Adam Fender. Adam is preparing to embark on a 10-week, 4,000-mile bicycle trip from Providence, RI, to Seattle, WA, during which he and his group of 32 will make 10 stops to help build affordable housing for people in need. Adam, a senior at Temple University, participated in the Appalachia Service Project several years ago and has also volunteered with Habitat for Humanity in Chester. Bike and Build – Pedaling for Affordable Housing (www.bikeandbuild.org) is the organizer of this program. Adam, like all participants, must raise the funds to underwrite the trip.  Anyone who would like to support Adam can do so by visiting this page.  We give thanks for Adam’s example of “God’s Work, Our Hands.”
