Commemorating Dr. King
“Life’s most persistent and urgent question is, ‘What are you doing for others?’“ – Martin Luther King, Jr.
On January 20 our Sunday School students will engage in a special MLK Day of Service and we invite the congregation to participate as well.
Throughout the month of January we will collect home-made cards in the labeled bin in the lobby for the following purposes:
- Valentine cards for Nursing Home residents
- Pediatric Get Well Cards for sick/injured kids at CHOP
- Thank You cards for our Veterans
Please be as creative as you wish. Make 1 or make 20 – there is no right or wrong. If you have any questions, please contact Jen Troutman. Thank you for helping us brighten the lives of others by making this special project a success!
