Gift Giving Opportunities starting November 23

Silver Springs – Martin Luther School was
founded in1859 in Philadelphia as an orphanage.
Located in Plymouth Meeting, PA. Silver Springs
promotes trauma recovery and family reunification in
a nurturing and healing environment with a quality
educational program. Children are helped to heal
and manage the overwhelming feelings and
memories of the bad, sad and scary things that have
happened to them.

Aid For Friends serves the needy, isolated shut-ins
primarily the frail elderly, in the 5 county Greater
Philadelphia areas, with free daily home-cooked
meals delivered weekly by volunteer visitors. Their
goal is to help our homebound maintain their
cherished independence and to remain in their own
homes for as l

Chester Eastside Mission has long been
recognized as a force for good in the community. It
has demonstrated this by its food and clothing
ministries, basic tutoring and educational
enrichment programs, crisis counseling and
community advocacy. It also provides worship
services, cultural and educational programs

Migrant Ministry in Kennett Square works with the
year round population of people who harvest
mushrooms in Kennett Square, the mushroom
capital of the nation. Most of the workers come with
their families and live nearby year round. The
workers report to work at 4 a.m. The ministry
provides warm clothing and blankets, they also have
bible studies and provide many diverse services for
the families.

Lutheran Settlement House was founded in 1902
as part of the Lutheran Social Mission Society of
Philadelphia. While a mission of the church, Lutheran
Settlement House has served vulnerable children,
adults, and families living in the inner city, regardless
of race or creed. Today they continue to serve the
newly homeless, abused women and children, low
income seniors.
