Have you been wondering what they are?
What they do?
Find out during Adult Forum on October 12.
Whether you are a member of Thrivent or not, you will
want to know what Thrivent is and all the many
benevolent works of which Thrivent is an important
part– and specifically what things Thrivent has done
here in Delaware County and even in our church. We
will learn, too, how the local chapter is organized and
how it goes about its work.
Our church has been the beneficiary of many funds
from Thrivent. Did you know it contributed to our
Thanksgiving and Easter food baskets? To Adam
Fender’s bike trip? To our Youth Mission fundraiser?
Did you know they paid for our new round tables that
we use all the time? Many of us from Reformation
have also enjoyed various feasts provided by
Thrivent. Keep alert as you read our church bulletins
for the word “Thrivent”, and you will see that they are
quite active—and generous.
Come to the Adult Forum on October 12 when
Thrivent Associates Richard Henricks and Michael
Ghelardi will talk to us about these things; THEN you
will all know! That Sunday Thrivent has also offered
to host Fellowship Hour, so once again we will be the
beneficiaries of some good food!
