Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, Rejoice. – Philippians 4:4
There are many reasons to rejoice together at Reformation! And the weeks ahead are no exception.
This month we will celebrate our twenty year partnership with Pangani, kick-off our mission campaign to move us confidently into the future, affirm the promises made at baptism for seven of our young members during their Confirmation, and give thanks for the 65 years this congregation has gathered to rejoice in the Lord!
It is a full month here at Reformation, full of the abundant life blessings that God has promised and that God continues to make real in our lives through our serving and our growing in faith. I hope you will be a part of these many opportunities to give thanks and praise to God – indeed, there are many reasons to rejoice!
At each of these moments of celebration we are blessed with the knowledge of God’s steadfastness and the opportunity to rejoice in what God is doing in this place. And these are just a few of the ways in which we are able to know these amazing gifts of God – I hope that as you see others in the weeks ahead you will share them with each other.
I encourage you to celebrate with us as we share together here in the life of Reformation. Together we are always able to rejoice in the love of God that we have come to know through Jesus Christ and the ways in which God has called us together to share that love with others.
