God’s Work, Our Hands
The fifth annual God’s Work, Our Hands Sunday will be September 17. This is a great event for all ages to participate. Non-perishable food items will be collected at church and at Trader Joe’s in Media on this day.
How can you help? Volunteers can sign up for one hour shifts to help set up, hand out flyers, receive and sort food, hand out thank you gifts at Trader Joe’s, and/or assist in transporting food items to Reformation Sunday afternoon. We continue our work on Monday, September 18, as volunteers will transport donated items to various food banks. If you cannot help on either of those two days, but want to be involved, there are still ways you can help. Families and individuals are needed to create colorful thank you messages for all who donate food. Packets of supplies with instructions for thank you messages are located by the sign up sheets in the narthex. Let us give generously of our time, talent, and treasure. Remember, all are welcome! Sign up in the narthex or contact coordinator Karen Chorney 610-405-1659 or karenchorney1621@gmail.com.
