It is our practice at Reformation that children receive their first communion at the desire of their parents.
First communion instruction is a take-home lesson set that can be completed at your own time and pace. Once the lessons are completed, the family will set up a meeting with Pastor Alina, and then choose a date for the child to receive first communion.
This can be done for any age (or ages if you wish for siblings to receive first communion together) and can be done at any time of the year.
