Civil Conversations

FAITH LIFE CONNECTIONS

Inspired by Krista Tippett’s On Being podcast and the Civil Conversations project, members and friends of Reformation are invited to participate in three weeks of shared listening and dialogue. Gathering each Sunday in Creighton Hall at 9:45 am, Civil Conversation is designed to increase our understanding of each other in the midst of times and voices that would have us turning away from one another. Civil Conversations give us the chance to practice, in the words of Krista Tippett, “speaking together differently in order to live together differently.”  Questions?  See Civil Conversations-trained leaders Marilyn Berberich, Deacon Beth, or Pastor Alina.

Themes for upcoming Civil Conversations:

May 5: Words That Shimmer

May 12: The Art of Peace

May 19: Belonging Creates and Undoes Us Both

Note: May 19 will be the last Faith Life Connection class until our next program year starting in the Fall. Thank you, Reformation members Bob Barkhau, Marilyn Berberich, Doug Gaston, Marilyn Gilroy, Carolyn Hathaway, Stacy Opalka, and Laura Reiter, for helping us walk by faith!
