Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
Springtime brings forth the shoots of green growth which signal the renewal of God’s creation. The beautiful blooms of spring all around us are signs of new life. It is a time of rejuvenation after the dormancy of winter.
Just as nature proclaims the revitalizing power of God, the celebration of Easter, the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, for a week of Sundays proclaims the good news of new life for each of us. In baptism each of us was joined to the death and resurrection of Jesus. God continually pours out the possibility of newness for us each day.
May the good news of new life in Christ refresh and rejuvenate you each and every day, transforming the “winters” in your life into “springtimes” of hope and promise.
