The CareSharers and Friendly Visitors Ministry is dedicated to sharing communion and visits with our homebound members. On the first Sunday of each month, the communion elements are consecrated as part the church service and taken to our homebound members by the CareSharers group. In addition, Friendly Visitors visit many of the homebound members at least once a month. These visits often include card or board games, book discussions and news of activities at Reformation. These communion and friendly visits often provide the only link these members have with their church family, and are an important way to keep the Pastors informed of any health or other changes that may be occurring.
There will be a refresher and training session for current and new members of this Ministry Sunday, November 10, at 9:45 in Creighton Hall. If you are interested in becoming a CareSharer or Friendly Visitor on a monthly or part-time basis, please join us for the training. These visits have been known to leave both participants with a happy, brighter spirit as a result of sharing God’s love with fellow Reformation members. If you have questions or would like more information, contact Kathy Ewens or speak with Pastor Alina.
