Rally Day is September 9

Rally Day is September 9

Rally Day is Sunday, September 9! Our regular worship schedule resumes that morning with worship at 8:30 and 11:00 am and Sunday School classes for all ages at 9:45. Please plan to join us that morning as we embark on another great year of life here at Reformation!

CHILDREN:

For information on our Sunday School program for students infant through grade 12, click here. Registration is required EVERY YEAR for students infant through grade 6.

Please join us downstairs in the community room for a special back-to-SUNDAE-school party on Rally Day.  Look for your class table to sit with your teachers and friends. We will then dismiss to classrooms where parents can pick up their children at 10:45am.

Don’t forget to bring your backpacks to worship on Sunday, September 9, for a special blessing as we celebrate the start of another school year and God’s blessings in our lives every day!

ADULTS:

We also have learning opportunities for adults starting at 9:45 am through our Faith Builders classes.

Bible Study:  Parables of Luke – A stimulating in-depth study led by Nancy Clark in the Choir Room Sundays at 9:45 am starting September 9.

Women’s Connection – All women are warmly invited to gather on Sundays starting on September 9 to share devotions and/or readings and discuss how our faith sustains and inspires us in the journeys of our lives. We meet in the Women’s Connection Room (between the Library and the R.O.C.K. Room) during Sunday School time (9:45 am). This adult education option is uniquely for women. If it sounds like a fit for you, please join us!

Faith and Life Connections: Embracing An Adult Faith – 9:45 am in Creighton Hall. Starting Sunday, September 9, this new five-session video-based study features Marcus Borg, best-selling author and theologian, gathering with a small group of adults to teach and model faith talk. Weekly participants explore a new question: Who was Jesus? Who is God? What is salvation? How do we practice faith? How do we live in community? Together, class participants will watch, listen, discuss, pray and take a quiet moment for life application. If you are seeking a richer understanding of Christian practice come for one or all five weeks. If you are searching for ways to talk about faith, join us.
