Sunday School

Sunday School classes are available for all children ages three through 12th grade,  9:45 to 10:45 a.m. Classes begin in September and continue until Memorial Day.

Youngsters under age three, our Small Stars, meet from 9:50 to 10:40 a.m. (along with a parent) in the church nursery opposite the office entrance.

Middle School students have confirmation classes, High School students are invited to our Breakfast Club and our ROCK (Reformation’s Outstanding Christian Kids) education and activities are held separately.

The teachers appreciate the efforts of parents who bring their children to class each Sunday. A Bible lesson is presented each Sunday with emphasis placed on how these lessons can be used in daily lives. Bible stories are reenacted, pages are colored, projects are completed and games are played. Special activities are: Rally Day, Columbus Day Service Activity, filling food trays for Aid for Friends, MLK Day Of Service, Camp Sunday, and Eco Sunday.

Classes are taught by capable and committed teams of screened and trained volunteer teachers who make use of curriculum which is centered on our relationship with God and with His people – emphasizing God’s grace, love, and forgiveness as free gifts to all people; and our loving response to those great gifts – loving God most of all, loving others as God loves us, being good stewards of God’s great creation.

The learning does not stop on Sunday. Please click here to download the family page for each class that can be used at home throughout the week.

Sunday School Registration Information

For the Safety of our Children & Youth, we require all students to be registered!

New and Returning Students:

Beginning Rally Day and continuing through the month of September, registration tables will be set up in the Narthex (main lobby entrance) or you can register online.  Parents should fill out this form and return it to the church – even if you have previously done so other years. Students earn one point for each time they attend a Sunday School class. (We will no longer be counting church attendance.)

Stars are no longer cumulative from year to year. We will begin counting stars each year from September – May. Depending on the totals, students with the highest number of stars will receive a small reward.

ALL registered students will get a special prize and personalized certificate at the end of the Sunday School year at our annual family brunch.
